MAYAN MUSEUM

Located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, with the objective of teaching about Mayan Culture and the archeological passage of San Miguelito.

The tour starts with the oldest burials ever found from the sunken caves in the coasts of Quintana Roo, then shows you about the monumental sites’s history from south Quintana Roo, until it reaches the north zone or Oriental Coast. Afterwards it gives general aspects of the mayan civilisation, like their economical activities, commerce, cultural expressions, city development, and others.

Finally the last room offers temporary expositions related to the museum’s theme.
