Strategic Sectors in a Growing Trend - Cancun, Mexico
The Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, said Thursday in Cancun, Quintana Roo, that it is encouraging for the national economy that the country's strategic sectors such as employment, consumption and credit continue in a growing trend.
Meade Kuribreña stressed during his participation in the National Meeting of the Business Sector 2017, that in order that this positive trend be maintained, structural reforms must continue to be effectively implemented that have proven to be tangible results in the national economy.
In this forum, Meade highlighted the importance of Infonavit in the area of mortgage credit, allowing access to more Mexican housing, and pension, for the resources it provides to supplement pension income.
In this event the signing of the agreement 'For a more productive Quintana Roo' was done, which follows up on the recommendations of the National Productivity Committee and endorses the commitment of the private sector to the agroindustrial, gastronomic and tourist sectors of Quintana Roo.
Finally, the Secretary of the Treasury met with the mayor of Quintana Roo during the closing of the Workshop on Strengthening Municipal Revenues and Financial Discipline Law, organized by the National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras), with the objective To publicize the products and technical assistance provided by the bank to promote economic development in the entity.
