VEHICLE REGISTRATION FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS IN QUINTANA ROO
Foreign nationals domiciled in Quintana Roo and the owners of a Mexican motor vehicle are entitled to register in their name in any of the Departments of Vehicles of the state without the Unique Certificate of Population Registration. However the Department of Vehicle offices throughout the state continue to reject foreigners who wish to register a vehicle in their name when they do not have the CURP, number similar to the social security identification number.
